1. What this policy covers
Every blanket is made for your order after you place it. That means we do not accept returns because you changed your mind, and we cannot take an item back and resell it.
What we do cover is anything that went wrong on our side. If your order never arrives, arrives damaged, arrives misprinted, or is not what you ordered, we replace it or refund you. You choose which.
2. When you can make a claim
Write to us within 30 days of the day your order was delivered, or within 30 days of the last estimated delivery date if it never arrived.
We look at claims made after that window case by case, but we cannot promise an outcome.
3. What counts as a covered problem
- Your order never arrived.
- The blanket arrived damaged or torn.
- The print is faded, blurred, misaligned, or otherwise wrong.
- You received a different design, a different size, or a different product from the one you ordered.
- Part of a multi-item order is missing.
4. What is not covered
- You changed your mind, or you no longer want the item.
- You ordered the wrong size or the wrong design.
- The color looks slightly different from your screen. Screens vary, and small differences are normal.
- Normal wear after use, or damage caused by washing against the care instructions.
- The package was delivered to the address you entered, and that address was wrong. See section 8.
5. How to make a claim
Email support@throw-blankets.com with:
- Your order number.
- A short description of the problem.
- For a damaged or misprinted item, one clear photograph of the blanket showing the problem, and one photograph of the packaging if it was damaged in transit.
You never have to ship anything back to us. We do not ask for the item to be returned, and we do not ask you to pay return shipping. Keep the blanket, or pass it on to someone who can use it.
6. What happens next
We reply within one business day.
If we approve your claim, you choose between a replacement sent at no cost to you, or a full refund of what you paid for that item, including the shipping you paid on it.
Refunds go back to your original payment method within seven business days of approval, or within one billing cycle if you paid by credit card. How quickly it appears on your statement is up to your bank.
Replacements are sent with the same estimated delivery window as a new order.
If we cannot approve your claim, we tell you why.
7. If your order has not shipped
If your order has not shipped within 30 days of purchase, you can cancel it for a full refund.
If we know in advance that we cannot ship within the estimated delivery window, we email you before that window ends and give you the choice between a revised date and a full refund.
8. Wrong or incomplete addresses
Double-check your shipping address at checkout. If a package is returned to us because of an incorrect address, we can reship it, but you'll be responsible for the second shipping cost.
If you notice a mistake in your address, write to us at support@throw-blankets.com within 24 hours of placing your order. After that, we may not be able to change it.
9. Canceling an order
You can cancel an order at no cost within 24 hours of placing it, as long as it has not entered production. Email us and we will confirm.
After that point we cannot cancel, because your blanket is already being made.
10. Gifts
If you received a blanket as a gift and something is wrong with it, contact us with the order number from the packing slip or with the name and email of the person who ordered it. We handle the claim the same way.
11. If you live in Canada
This policy applies to you in full.
Nothing in it removes any right you have under the consumer protection law of your province or territory, including your right to a remedy for a product that does not match its description or is not fit for its ordinary purpose.
12. If you live in Australia
The following statement is required by Australian law and applies in addition to everything above:
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
If a guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law gives you a remedy that is wider than the one described in this policy, that guarantee applies.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. The version in force when you place your order is the one that applies to that order.
