Description
This purple checkered blanket gives a strong color a structure to sit in.
Push a thumb into the cream sherpa side and it takes the print. The grid on the other side runs a mid violet against a deeper indigo. Both squares are saturated, so the two tones blur together from across the room. It measures 37 x 57, 50 x 60 or 60 x 80 inches. The 37 x 57 covers your hips and thighs when you sit back. The 50 x 60 suits a two seater, and the 60 x 80 runs a full sofa. Fold it in thirds and the squares pull into rectangles. Shake it flat again and the grid squares up under your palms.
Where a Purple Check Blanket Sits in a Room
Solid purple is usually treated as a decision the rest of the room has to answer. A grid changes that, because the repeat reads as a pattern before it reads as a color. It sits with black metal, warm oak and off white, and it holds up against gray. Drape it over a bench and the two purples close up. A purple check blanket works at the foot of a bed, where the rows run straight. In daylight the violet comes forward, and under a lamp the purple checkered blanket goes indigo.
Take the 50 x 60 for a two seater and add it to your cart.
